Kelly Van Baalen

Kelly Van Baalen is the Program Manager for Climate Services and Sea Level Rise at Climate Central, where she connects cutting-edge climate research to the people who need it most. Since joining Climate Central in 2019, Kelly has launched numerous research and communications products — including Coastal Risk Finder and Picturing Our Future — that help storytellers communicate climate risk and give decision-makers the information they need to act. Her work has informed adaptation and resilience planning across the country and has been featured at UN Climate Conferences and covered by outlets including The New York Times, the AP, and The Guardian. Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Molecular Biology and Environmental Studies from Princeton University.
