Edward Sanders

Edward joined Climate Central in 2026 as Senior Vice President of Business Development. He is a commercial leader with experience spanning climate technology, heavy industry and consulting. He leads Climate Central's work to broaden the reach and adoption of its data, tools and analysis by developing new commercial channels and revenue streams.

Prior to Climate Central, Edward served as the CEO of Equatic, a climate start-up spun out of UCLA to produce clean fuel and remove atmospheric carbon. He took the technology out of the university and built a company around it, leading go-to-market, sales and fundraising as it moved toward commercial-scale deployment.

Earlier in his career, Edward was a group executive for a Qantas subsidiary airline in Asia-Pacific, and he also worked for the Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a degree in economics from the University of Melbourne.
