David Zhong is an experienced nonprofit accounting professional who’s passionate about helping mission-driven organizations thrive through efficient, reliable financial operations. He believes that strong financial systems, data integrity and compliance provide the foundation for data-driven decisions that advance an organization's mission.

David cares deeply about climate change and sees it as one of the most urgent challenges of our time. He believes that each of us has a part to play in protecting our planet and building a more sustainable future for all. Before joining Climate Central, David had the privilege of working with impactful nonprofit organizations dedicated to ending homelessness, expanding access to job training and education, supporting family engagement through edtech, and delivering high-impact tutoring to help students succeed.
