Alyssa joined Climate Central in 2025 as Executive Assistant to the CEO and Chief Scientist, Dr. Benjamin Strauss. With a professional background of supporting executive leadership in the biotechnology and technology industries, Alyssa brings expertise in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.

Known for her proactive approach and attention to detail, Alyssa is passionate about optimizing operations and streamlining workflows. She seeks out opportunities to improve internal processes, enhance team efficiency, and create systems that support long-term organizational success. Her focus on process improvement has not only elevated the productivity of leadership teams she has supported but has also contributed to stronger cross-functional collaboration.

Alyssa holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University. A New Jersey native now residing in Pennsylvania, she is excited to bring her skills and dedication to the nonprofit sector, where she looks forward to contributing to Climate Central’s mission of advancing climate science and communication.
