greenhouse gases

The World Meteorological Organization's Greenhouse Gas Bulletin is published annually to report on the latest trends in atmospheric concentrations of the most important long-lived greenhouse gases: carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O). It also provides a summary of the contributions made by the other greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. The Bulletin represents the consensus of a consortium of observation networks that have been in operation since the mid-1980s. The 2015 Bulletin is being released in advance of the Marrakesh climate conference (COP-22) to ensure that the talks have access to the most up-to-date scientific information available.
