These fully-produced, broadcast-ready news packages are free and available for your use on broadcast, digital, and most social media platforms.
They have been fact-checked by Climate Central scientists and vetted by our legal team. All elements are cleared for use within the parameters below.
Climate Central is an independent group of scientists and communicators who research and report the facts about our changing climate and how it affects people’s lives. We are a policy-neutral 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Guidelines for Media Outlets Airing Content:
Media partners must acknowledge Climate Central in the introduction. Example: "Ben Tracy with our partners at Climate Central shows us..." or “Ben Tracy with Climate Central tell us…” or “Ben Tracy on assignment for Climate Central shows us…” etc.
Media partners cannot remove the Climate Central logo from any graphics in the piece. If you replace the graphic to match your on-air look you must retain a Climate Central logo on the graphic when it is about Climate Central data.
Media Partners cannot remove the sig-out at the end of the piece (Example: “For Climate Central I’m Ben Tracy in Tampa”)
Editing, re-voicing, or alteration of the original pieces is prohibited, unless mutually agreed to.
Social media dissemination of content should be in collaboration with Climate Central social channels (Instagram, etc) either through a collaboration request or by @tagging Climate Central.
If you post the video to YouTube, we ask that you include Climate Central as a video collaborator on YouTube and clearly note Climate Central is the owner of the video in the description and/or caption.
Any additional VO provided is for use to promote the piece in a broadcast. It cannot be repurposed or added to your b-roll library.
Climate Central retains ownership of the content; video, stills, and soundbites may not be repurposed in other pieces broadcast by the partner.
