Annual withdrawals from traditional retirement accounts are required after age 70½ and the penalty for skipping a required minimum distribution is significant. By donating money from your IRA directly to Climate Central you can avoid income tax on required withdrawals. Double or triple your donation to Climate Central with a matching gift through your employer. After making your donation to Climate Central, you may have your gift doubled—or even tripled—just by submitting a matching gifts form to your company. Once the form is submitted and Climate Central has verified receipt of your gift, your employer will disperse the matching funds.
