Climate Central's Heidi Cullen on Face the Nation

Climate Central's chief climatologist Heidi Cullen will be on CBS' Face the Nation this Sunday to help make sense of the latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

The report, released earlier this week, is focused on climate change impacts around the globe. It clearly states that those impacts are already being felt and are likely to grow more pronounced if greenhouse gas emissions aren't curbed.

Millions more exposed to flood risks, decreases in crop yields, and widespread damages to ocean and land ecosystems are among the numerous risks climate change likely poses that are detailed in the report. 

Cullen will talk about the consequences of those risks as well as how we choose to address them. New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman will join her for the segment.
