2020 Mets Unite
- Tomorrow is the third annual #MetsUnite to #ShowYourStripes. Created by climate scientist Ed Hawkins using annual temperature anomalies, the blue-to-red graphic has inspired images of our warming world from murals to magazine covers.
- Rising temperatures have disproportionate impacts that deepen economic and racial inequalities. Reducing emissions can make an enormous difference—as illustrated by Alexander Radtke’s “stripes of the future”.
- This Thursday, show your local or global “warming stripes” on air, social media, or in your community—with special filters and items that now include Zoom backgrounds and face masks.
