Heather Seagroatt Pittman

Heather Seagroatt Pittman


Heather Pittman is Vice President for Development at Climate Central. Prior to joining the Climate Central team, Heather served as Associate Vice President for Principal Gifts at Lehigh University. She earned her Ph.D and MA from the University of Virginia and her BA from the University of Pennsylvania. She taught literature and critical writing at UVA, Russell Sage College and Rutgers University-New Brunswick before focusing her efforts on non-profit fundraising.


Wildfires in the West In 2006, wildfires burned seven million acres in the West, the equivalent area of five of the country's largest national parks.
