Dennis Adams-Smith


Climate Central's Senior Data Analyst, Dennis Adams-Smith, imports and translates vast amounts of climate data into more friendly, accessible, often graphical and interactive, results. Dennis comes to Climate Central from Michelin Americas Research Corporation where he developed statistical methods and tools used in the design, testing and manufacture of Michelin tires. He also taught industrial statistics courses and mathematics at Greenville Technical College and Clemson University. Before life as a mathematician he worked variously as an information technology specialist, graphic artist, newspaper production manager and grassroots environmental canvasser. He holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Alfred University.
