Heidi Cullen Joins Weather Channel Climate 25 Project

Climate Central's Chief Scientist Heidi Cullen has been picked by The Weather Channel as one of the top voices for the climate for The Climate 25 project.

Cullen joins a list of community leaders, politicians, scientists, military personnel and others who are driving the discussion on the impacts of climate change and how to deal with them. Rising seas, increasing heavy precipitation and more extreme heat are all aspects of climate change that have the potential to dramatically impact infrastructure, crop diversity and human health.

In her interview, Cullen spoke to climate change as a problem that isn't easily solved.

"We have a tendency to like the silver bullet approach, like 'I just want to do one thing to fix this,' and climate change is not like that," Cullen said.
