This graph illustrates one possible mix of electricity generation in 2050 that would have 83 percent lower CO2 emissions than in 2005, while providing 50 percent more electricity-dependent services. Those services, such as lighting or air-conditioning, could be provided using less electricity if more efficient devices are used.
