Image of Day: Baby Hedgehogs Hanging On Hairy Brush
Unusually heavy rains have swept across the United Kingdom, causing unseasonably severe floods. The wet weather has persisted for nearly two months and probably will not subside until the Olympics begin, according to the Daily Mail. The heavy rains have affected the wildlife across the region, orphaning these baby hedgehogs. When they were rescued and taken to a wildlife rescue center, they snuggled inside a dustpan, “perhaps mistaking the brush for their mom,” suggested the Telegraph.
