Image of the Day: Here Comes the Sun—and Energy

The Gujarat Solar Park takes up 3,000 acres of desert in India, which makes it the largest solar farm in the world. The solar park may help wean the country from its reliance on coal, which accounts for 55 percent of the country’s electricity generation. Gujarat also has budgeted $400 million to develop renewable energy, with plans to encourage residents to install rooftop solar panels.
