Image of the Day: Deadly Frog Gets New Lease on Life

Repost This

A new nature reserve in Colombia has been set up to preserve the endangered golden poison frog. These frogs are considered to be the world’s deadliest creatures with enough poison to kill 10 adults in a matter of minutes. While loss of habitat through deforestation has taken a toll on the deadly frogs, scientists also link the loss of amphibians to climate change. With the rainforest being affected by climate change, so too, are its inhabitants.
