Image of the Day: Cormorant Conquers Crowd of Fish

Repost This

This photo, taken by Cristobal Serrano, was the winner of the first World Bird Photo Contest. The bird in the photo is a pelagic cormorant and it is fishing for its next meal. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, fish populations will most likely change and move with predicted models of climate change. This could have an effect on the food source on which the pelagic cormorant depends.
